Victor Friedberg

CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Victor has been at the forefront of innovation, investment, and sustainability for over 20 years. As co-founder of S2G Ventures he was a principal force in developing the S2G mission, culture, strategy, and team. He pioneered systems investing as a strategy for investing into food and agriculture and applied this approach to building the S2G portfolio. Victor led the S2G investments into Beyond Meat and sweetgreen — two sector-defining brands with the most successful IPOs in food in the past decade — and Apeel Science, a groundbreaking biotech company declared a unicorn by Forbes in 2021. Victor is founder and chairman of Foodshot Global, an innovative multi-stakeholder non-profit for food system transformation. He also serves as executive chairman of Tiny Organics, senior strategic advisor of Mori, and on the boards of Digestiva and Rivalz.

Rajiv Singh

CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

As CEO of Rabobank, Rajiv was responsible for the bank’s business and investing activities in North America. He led and built Rabobank’s business segments of corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, specialized investment products, food and agribusiness research, and capital market activities. Rajiv spearheaded a new business plan, strategy, and vision to refocus the institution on being the key financial link for a better food system. He led the establishment of direct investing across strategies — Private Equity (Arlon Food and Ag Partners), Venture Capital (Rabo Ventures, Anterra, Rabo F&A Innovation Fund), Incubator/Innovation platforms (Terra and FoodBytes), and hybrid capital investing through Rabo Global Client Solutions. Additionally, Rajiv was the Chairman of the Board of Rabo Securities Inc., a broker-dealer regulated by FINRA.

Rajiv serves as director and interim CEO of Agrivida, an innovative biotechnology company developing a revolutionary and sustainable way to express protein molecules in grain. He is founding partner of Amritam Holdings, Co-Chairman of Foodshot Global, and on the board of directors of SeaAhead.

Anthony H. Stam

CO-FOUNDER & MANAGING PARTNER

Anthony has over 20 years of experience in private equity, venture capital, corporate finance, and investment banking. He has worked on sustainability topics including renewable energy, circular economy, food & agri-tech, and climate solutions.

As Chief Investment Officer for a Swiss single family office, he restructured and oversaw a diversified private equity portfolio with a focus on the medtech, foodtech, and luxury industries, which saw highly profitable exits in the medical sector and the preparation of other non-core assets for exit.

Prior to this, Anthony had a 14-year tenure at one of the largest European single family offices and their captive private equity firm, as well as 5 years in corporate finance/M&A, having worked on both buy- and sell-side deals in retail, consumer finance, and renewable energies. He led multiple large debt finance transactions, as well as an initiative to establish a new investment arm focused on sustainable food and agriculture. He serves as senior advisor to Avicella Ventures (life-sciences) and NatureRe Capital (nature-based climate solutions).

In the last two decades, this mission took form in the pioneering and transformative sustainable investment firm, Generation Investment Management which he co-founded with the Goldman Sachs executive David Blood and Vice President Al Gore.

Joanne Wilson

Prominent early-stage angel investor, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a diverse background in retail, wholesale, media, real estate and technology. Joanne has over 140 companies in her investment portfolio, including Food52, Eater, and Parachute Home, and has invested in acclaimed restaurants throughout New York City.

Dean Banks

Entrepreneur, technologist, innovator, and business leader, Dean currently serves as CEO of Indigo Carbon and was formerly President and CEO at Tyson Foods. He joined Tyson from the high-tech incubator at Alphabet, the company formerly known as Google [X], where he served on the leadership team and led moonshot projects across multiple industries including sustainable food.

Alana Stevens

Growth strategist, brand builder, and general manager with extensive experience across design, marketing, and manufacturing within both B2B and B2C commerce. Following the acquisition of Knoll by Herman Miller, she led the Knoll brand as President of Knoll through the successful integration of the brands. Prior to being President, Alana held other leadership roles at Knoll Inc, including CMO/SVP.

Martin Reiter

Proven and successful leader in e-commerce and shared economy having built platforms and operational strategy for three of the most successful commerce platforms of the last decade: Wayfair, Airbnb and Groupon. Most recently at Wayfair as Head of Europe, Martin scaled European business 100x, from $20M to $2B in revenues over 8 years, with headcount growing from 40 to 4.000.
